Revisiting another old favorite.

I decided to make this again. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way to only use a non-stick pan for the second step of the shrimp. I used my Mauviel carbon steel pan, and the batter on the shrimp went everywhere – except on the shrimp.

I decided to go with a bottle of Fool’s Gold from Dwinell Country Ales.
This was an experiment. I took the basic curry from the Thai Curry Mussels and added the Dồi Xá Chiên Tây Hồ Sausage, blanched some Gai La, threw in some mushrooms and garnished with some Thai basil. I unfortunately didn’t think to make some sticky rice to go with this.
