Grilled Sambal Chicken and Asparagus with Chili Crisp & Garlic 

I decided to make Grilled Sambal Chicken and Asparagus with Chili Crisp & Garlic  – two dishes that i wasn’t quite sure would go together. Fortunately, I was wrong.

I went with a bottle of Timber Cruiser – a farmhouse ale brewed with Doug Fir tips and champagne yeast – from Aslan that I picked up on my way back from British Columbia last month.

Hot Dogs, Blue Cheese Cole Slaw

We had out Fourth of July BBQ early this year. We got some hot dogs from Otto’s Sausage Kitchen and I made coleslaw with blue cheese. I also made what I decided to call “Crazy Relish” which was diced Spicy Dill Pickles, Hot Pickled Okra and Mama Lil’s Peppers.
